My friend Callie is so talented. Her talent is spread among so many different genres and what amazes me the most is that she does them all so well!

She took some pictures of Hannah Cate at Jami's baby shower and I love the way they turned out!

Cousin!

Our West Coast family came to town and we had a great time visiting with them all week! We got to see a little bit more of AJ and Mick than Emily because she participated in her best friend Julie's wedding. We were sad to not get to see her more, but spent some great time loving on AJ!

I unfortunately took a pititfully poor amount of pictures.....let's make that "0"....until our planned photo shoot at Aldridge Gardens. I'll have to steal some of Emily's from the rest of the week and add them later.

For now, here's our two models at work.

Hannah Cate's First Birthday Week!

We really stretched this one out! Her actual Birthday (June 10) was on a Wednesday this year, so we started the celebrating the Sunday before with a party at our house in Fairhope with friends and family. We had our own family celebration on Wednesday and then we rounded out the week on Saturday with a party in Birmingham with the rest of our friends and family (we even had extra special visitors all the way from Oregon!).

I can't think of another day that I have gone into Hannah Cate's room first thing in the morning to take her picture and I can't think of another day that she's had worse bed head!!

Hannah Cate has stolen AJ's pacifier and Hayes' dog in this picture. She's good at sharing her things and I think she believes that entitles her to also make others share their things!

We had such a great week celebrating our special girl. I still can't believe a year has already gone by. The weeks leading up to her Birthday I was reminded of our last minute preparations for her arrival just a year before. In so many ways it feels like just the blink of an eye, but then again, I have a hard time remembering our lives without her right there beside us.

We love you baby girl and can't wait for all that your second year will hold!
