Emma Ann laughed this week for the first time.  She was laughing at Hannah Cate shaking her Auburn shaker in the back seat.  It was one of the sweetest sounds ever.  I'm not sure who enjoyed it more....me or Hannah Cate!

Speaking of Auburn....sad day yesterday.  It stinks to lose when you are so used to winning.....18 games was a long time ago!  I told HC that they lost and she said, "They lost?  They not doin' right!".  That's right, baby, they not doin' right at all! 

I've been cleaning out my email inbox and it got me started on "unsubscribing" to many of the junk emails I get daily, weekly, monthly.  There is something so satisfying to clicking that unsubscribe button!  I feel more organized and clean with each click!

I decided at the beginning of the summer that I wasn't even going to visit the Pinterest website.  I didn't want to know what it was about, didn't want to know what I was missing.  Then I started shopping for a new kitchen table and thought the little that I knew about Pinterest meant that it might help me in my search.  So last week I caved.  I signed up and IT.IS.ADDICTING!  So many great ideas, so little time (and money)!  However, I found an idea that won't cost me any money or any time (at least not any more than I would have spent anyway).  I'm in desperate need of a haircut, so I'll be taking the iPad with me to my next visit and we'll see what master Lee thinks about this for me....

I can't say I'm the biggest Jessica fan....but I do love that cut!  Thank you Pinterest!

The other day, Hannah Cate was playing with our home phone.  She was pretending to talk to someone and had just wrapped up her conversation.  I asked her who she was talking to and she told me she was talking to Mimi (my Mom).  Then she proceeded to tell me - "I need to call her back, no, I'll just text her!"  I guess that's just a sign of the times!

We are moving!  We bought our current house (our second home since we've been married) in April of 2007.  That was pre-kids.  Looking back, I'm amazed that we couldn't see a little farther down the road and realize that 1.  I work from home and therefore need a home office 2.  My family lives out of town and will need a place to stay when they come visit and 3. Eventually we will be adding more people to our family; though they will be little people, they will require a lot of stuff and space (I wouldn't have expected us to predict the warp speed with which we added those people, but that's another story).  We are just absolutely out of space.  Our master closet has become a nursery.  Our bath tub has become a laundry hamper.  Our garage has become a playroom/Matt's office/closet/storage/you name it.  The space between the wall and our bed (a space just wide enough that I can stretch out my arms and with one hand touch the wall and with the other hand touch the bed) has become my office.  Hannah Cate's room is also the playroom (along with just about every other room in the house).  You catch my drift, we just need a little more space.  We move next weekend and I'm super excited!

Via Pinterest, a friend told me about an incredible site for bows - Halo Heaven. 

 

I was skeptical but received my first order today and the quality is amazing, especially considering the cost. I paid a total of $24.00 for 24 bows. Pretty amazing - especially considering I have paid $8 for the exact same quality of bow at boutiques in town. You have to order a dozen at a time, but you can order assorted colors in your dozen. Around our house it seems like we lose a bow a day, so we can never have too many!

Highly recommend this site!

The other day I "accidentally" upgraded to the new Blogger site.  Oh my goodness, it's so much better!  So much easier for uploading pictures and formatting - everything is better really!  They have a link at the top of my homepage offering to take me back to the old site - um, thanks, but no thanks.  Thank you Google for the much improved functionality, I think I'll stay!
